Come celebrate George Washington's birthday with a very special event hosted by The Friends of the Canaan History Center!
A fun night of music, food, drink and dancing, celebrating the history of our nation and our town!
Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a good time, this ball is the place to be! Thanks to Norbrook Farm Brewery we'll have beer brewed from George Washington's original recipe! We'll have wines from Land of Nod and lots of other tasty libations! Freund's Farm is preparing some of Martha Washington's favorite foods, and there will be live music from Jim Prentiss and Relatively Sound, as well as our dance caller Maggie McClure. It's gonna be a hoot! Dress up (or don't), bring your friends, have a tipple! Don't miss out on the excitement –– come celebrate George Washington's legacy (and Canaan's history) in style!
