Our Offerings

Our flexible event spaces are perfect for a wide variety of programming. Whether you'd like to host a non-profit fundraiser, bridal shower, live music event, or anything in between — we'd love to work with you. 

Our 129-person theatre is available for private film showings. This is a great option for birthday parties, school field trips, and pre-release screenings for filmmakers. 

Our sponsored movies are a great way to support the community while advertising your business! Our sponsorships are limited to two per month and they go fast, so reach out today for more information.

The Colonial Theatre

Nestled in the heart of North Canaan, Connecticut, just minutes away from the Massachusetts border, the Colonial Theatre stands tall as a significant cultural landmark. Constructed in 1923, the theatre boasts a century-long run of playing host to a diverse array of entertainment; from movies and musical acts to plays and comedy shows. While the one-time basement bowling alley is left to the confines of history, The Colonial Theatre has remained an unforgettable hub for community gatherings and we are honored to usher it into a new chapter.
